How to find the theme manually

  1. 1Open the store on a computer and press Ctrl+U (Cmd+Option+U on Mac) to view the source.
  2. 2Press Ctrl+F and search for LS.theme. You will see something like code: "rio", name: "Rio", custom: false.
  3. 3If it is not there, search for /themes/ — the name right after it (e.g. themes/amazonas/) is the theme code.
  4. 4Mind the internal names: new_linkedman = Simple and style = Trend. The detector translates these automatically.

Does it work with stores on their own domain?

Yes. Most Nuvemshop stores use a custom domain (like mystore.com.br) and the detector works the same. It also accepts .lojavirtualnuvem.com.br and .mitiendanube.com addresses.

What does "customized code" mean?

Nuvemshop reports whether the theme's files were edited via FTP. If so, the store started from an official theme but a developer changed the code, so the design may look quite different from the original.

What are the free Nuvemshop themes?

The catalog currently has 17 free themes: Rio, Amazonas, Recife, Simple, Toluca, Brasilia, Lima, Morelia, Cali, Baires, Atlántico, Idea, Cubo, Bahia, Uyuni, Trend, Ipanema. The paid themes are Flex and Zenit Flex (R$799 each), built by FlexCommerce.

Why did the detector show a name that is not in the catalog?

Some stores use exclusive themes built by agencies, or legacy themes that have left the catalog. In those cases we show the name the store itself reports and flag it as an "unlisted theme".

Can I use the same theme on my store?

If it is an official theme, yes: in your Nuvemshop admin, open the Layout section and pick the same theme from the theme store. Many stores customize colors, fonts and code, so your result may not look identical.

Is the detector free? Do I need an account?

It is 100% free and needs no account. We only read the public information any browser receives when opening the store.
